Contact and Visits

The Iglesias Garden is located on land originally of the Lenni Lenape. Our garden is situated in the Kensington neighborhood of so-called Philadelphia. All of our activities are carried forward by a dedicated team of volunteers and organizers. We have limited capacity to respond to requests and appreciate your patience.

The garden is free and open to the public from sun up to sun down every day. There are no fences prohibiting the entrance and folks can come and go as they please. Dogs should be kept on leashes at all times and away from garden beds. We ask that you leave the space better than you found it and join us in practicing reciprocity and gratitude for the land.

While our efforts to support community control of land are city-wide, we want to kindly remind folks that the Iglesias Garden space is primarily intended to serve long-time residents, families, and members who live in the surrounding neighborhood. Please check out our social media channels for the most up-to-date information on events.

If you have questions about hosting a student group or getting a tour please fill out this form. Please note all universities and institutions inquiring about educational opportunities should be prepared to make a contribution to the space to support our organizing.

Iglesias Garden hosts events at our garden that are free and open to our community, which includes anyone in our neighborhood and our past or current volunteers. If you feel like you fit this description, and are interested in hosting a small event (gathering, meeting, birthday party, etc.) please fill out this interest form, review the agreements, and email iglesias.garden@gmail.com.
